Succeed Digital is a UK digital marketing agency that runs the full stack — UX, CRO, SEO, paid ads, content, strategy, and web development. Part of what it does for clients is LinkedIn outreach, delivered as a service. That means the agency needed a better way to manage LinkedIn connections on two fronts at once: its own network, and its clients’.

We wanted a more effective way to manage LinkedIn connections internally as an agency, and for the customers we run LinkedIn outreach for as a service.

Running outreach for multiple accounts is an organization problem before it’s a messaging problem. Without a clear system, follow-ups slip, the same person gets contacted twice, and time disappears into admin instead of pipeline.

Tags do the triage

For Succeed Digital, tags are the backbone of the daily workflow.

Tags are fundamental to our day-to-day — we can see who needs a follow-up, who’s in the pipeline, and who to exclude from further outreach.

With every connection tagged by status, the team always knows the next move for each person and, just as importantly, who to leave alone. That single layer of organization is what makes everything downstream fast.

The sidebar and filtered outreach

Day-to-day, the team works within the LeadDelta sidebar, where ongoing conversations from LinkedIn or Sales Navigator can be tracked, tagged, or — when a contact needs more detail — enriched on the spot, without breaking the flow.

Then there’s the outreach itself. Once a month, the team uses filters to find everyone who hasn’t been contacted in a given period and runs bulk, personalized outreach to that segment. Because the list is already filtered and tagged, what used to be an admin slog becomes a few minutes of work.

    For me, the best browser CRM for LinkedIn The best feature is the ability to filter contacts according to numerous relevant criteria, along with the tagging and task functions. This allows you to maintain an optimal overview and communicate effectively with your network. Another highlight is the ability to unfollow or remove multiple contacts simultaneously using the filtering and batch function if they are no longer relevant. A huge plus is the message inbox, mirrored from LinkedIn, which is much larger and more user-friendly. Here, too, you can tag and filter messages. I'm still missing some filter functions to more quickly find active LinkedIn users or to identify users with many or few followers. A folder function in the Messenger inbox would also be great. The new task function lets me set up tasks and reminders. The biggest advantage is that I have all my contact information at a glance and can use it to reach out to them. Network maintenance and hygiene are also possible thanks to the numerous filter functions. And the messenger is much clearer than LinkedIn's small windows.
